Installing DocuNet Viewer for Windows

Click on the Install link. If prompted, select Run

Some browsers or security software may ask for permission to run the file. If prompted, select Run.

If you see the following screen, then select More info.

Then select Run anyway.

You should be presented with the DocuNet Setup wizard.

Select Next to install DocuNet Viewer to the default location.

If you want DocuNet Viewer to install in a different location you should enter this in the Destination Folder line. You can use the Browse button to navigate to the correct folder. Note you will need to have write permissions to the specified folder. Once you have completed this, select Next.

You will see a confirmation screen, select Install to complete the installation process.

Again, some browsers or security software may ask for permission to run the file.

Once the installation process is complete, click the Finish button to exit the Setup window.

Starting DocuNet Viewer for Windows

You will find DocuNet Viewer by clicking Start > All Programs and locate the DocuNet Viewer folder. In here, you will find DocuNetViewer 2. Select this to start DocuNet Viewer for Windows.

You may see a popup as follows:

If you have been given a configuration code by your airline, then please enter it here, otherwise just click Skip

A screen will then pop-up to download updates as follows:

Registration

Please Note: You will need an internet connection to be able to register a device.

When you start the application for the first time you will be prompted to enter your airline designator.

Once entered, click OK and you will get a registration form. The airline designator entered on the previous screen will be automatically completed in the registration form.

Complete this form with the details supplied by your system administrator or Vistair representative and click Register.

Adding and updating manuals

When updates are available to download, you will see a red badge icon above the updates button. The number indicates the number of updates available. This number includes mandatory updates only. This does not include optional manuals.

Mandatory only will show all manuals that are mandatory for you to Install/Update.  These will be displayed in red. Mandatory + Updates for Optional will show all Mandatory manuals requiring installation as well as all Optional manuals requiring updates. Optional will show all the manuals you have access to. This is how you install optional manuals for the first time.

Mandatory manuals are displayed with a red icon, Optional updates are displayed with a yellow icon
